Wireless

The wireless connection is a nice feature. I sometimes do small exercises during a meeting. For example, calf raise. I get tired if the meeting is long. So I want to move a bit or walk around my desk. Sitting for a long time is not good. I don’t go away from the desk but the sound is clear enough and I have never met a bad experience with the wireless system.

Another earphone that I have doesn’t work well if I stop/start a video/audio. It is disconnected if the audio stops. In this case, it takes 3 or 4 seconds to connect to the PC again. But I’ve never met such an experience with Jabra Headset.

Noise Cancellation

It’s not perfect but I think it’s enough to use in a working space. When no one speaks in a meeting, I can hear the sound around me but it is not loud. If someone is speaking, the sound around me doesn’t bother me and I can focus on the meeting.

The feature can be turned off by pressing a center button on the left side.

Not suitable for long call

If you need to talk with your colleagues for more than 2 hours, this product might not fit you. The headset doesn’t cover the ears. It is just ON your ears. It means that the headset keeps the ears flat and it leads to pain. If it is necessary to use it for a long time, the position of the headset needs to change. I sometimes set the headset a little bit front in order not to let it push my ears.

If you need to call for a long time, it might be better to use the following type.

The quality of the Microphone

Many colleagues use the same headset in my company and I often hear the sound. The sound is clear and easy to hear. It will definitely satisfy most people. When I used it in my home office and my children were loud in the same room, I asked my colleague if it was not noisy but it seemed not. The microphone seems to catch only the headphone user.

The microphone is muted if the mic stick is up. If the mic stick is down again, the microphone is on. This feature is nice when you don’t want to stay in front of your PC. You can mute the mic while hearing others and turn it on when you want to speak. Sometimes the cursor gets lost but we won’t face the same issue with this feature.

Overall

Jabra Evolve 75 Bluetooth Headset is an expensive device but I satisfy the quality. The quality of the microphone is for your colleagues, the quality of the headphone is for you. If you want to improve remote working, why not try this product?
